No directory, listing site or other third party is authorised to publish our details or to receive messages on our behalf, unless we have given it our express written authorisation. The only exceptions are the service providers named in our Privacy Policy and those marketplace shops.

Kitty Cat Habitat is a sole proprietorship registered in British Columbia, Canada. As a natural person there is no separate legal form, no share capital and no authorised representative. The business is not subject to official authorisation, is not a regulated profession, and holds no EU or German VAT identification number.

Orders shipped to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany and Portugal are sold through Shopify Managed Markets, with Global-e US Inc., 200 West 41st Street, New York, NY 10036, United States, acting as merchant of record and contractual seller for those orders. Global-e's own terms and privacy policy are presented at checkout. Every other destination is sold directly by us.

Kitty Cat Habitat™, Tailored For Tails™ (in any capitalisation) and our logo are unregistered trademarks of Sean Langwith, carrying on business as Kitty Cat Habitat. Sean Langwith owns the copyright in the photographs, text, artwork and product designs we create, to the extent copyright protects them, including the cat-head design in our logo. The typeface used in the lettering of our logo belongs to its owner and is licensed to Sean Langwith. The cat-ear form on the letter C in our logo was drawn by Sean Langwith and is part of our logo artwork. Except as our Terms of Service allow, no one may use our logo, or any name, logo or design so similar to ours that it is likely to cause confusion with our business or products. Use of our name, brand and content is governed by our Terms of Service.

Shipping
Examples of shipping rates to Japan: mats CA$26, hemp and wool cat beds CA$29, cat caves and cat baskets CA$38, kicker sets (felt or denim) CA$12, toy boxes CA$11, t-shirts CA$12. These rates are set in Canadian dollars and converted to yen at the current exchange rate. The shipping charge for your order is calculated at checkout and shown in yen before you pay.

Other charges
Japanese customs may charge import consumption tax and customs duty on delivery. These are set by Japanese customs and payable by you to the carrier on delivery. We cannot determine these amounts in advance.

Payment methods
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover), Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.

Payment timing
Payment is taken in full when you place your order.

Delivery timing
Orders are dispatched within 1 to 2 business days of receiving payment and are delivered within 10 to 14 business days of your order. Where an item has a longer lead time, the dispatch time is stated on the product page. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays in British Columbia.

Returns and exchanges
You may return any item within 30 days of delivery, for any reason. You pay return postage. We do not accept exchanges. Where an item has been slept in, played with, soiled, chewed, or otherwise used by an animal rather than inspected, we deduct the reduction in its value from your refund.

Faulty, damaged, incorrect or missing items
We put these right at our cost, including return postage. Our two-year craftsmanship guarantee applies from the date of delivery.
