I have a very playful, one-year old black cat, Rhubarb. She absolutely loves playing with this cat cave. She will hide in it and stare out, jump on top of it (especially to play with her fishy toy), then zoom around inside it to open it up again. We are always finding the cat cave in different configurations; she even flipped it upside down once. She uses it more for playing than chilling but it does seem to be a safe space for her. I'm currently teaching her a 'cave' command so that she will go into the cave if someone is at the door, etc!

Great quality, our cat loves it. Soft and cozy. We meant for it to go in her carrier, but she took to it right away and it’s on the sofa, so we’ll have to get another one :) … Arrived on time and with thoughtful little treats.

I don't know what it is about wool felt, but cats seem to love sleeping on it. This is the perfect size to fit on a chair in my bedroom and my cat has been sleeping on it. The brown is a nice neutral color.

So far so amazing❤️ Chandra watched it get unpacked and once placed on the bed immediately took up residence. I do hope this solves the bed sharing issue we three have, currently the cat and the dog get most of a queen size bed and I am left hanging off the side! (there IS a small black cat in the photo I promise 😊)

How Do I Care For My Felted Wool Bed, Cave, Basket Or Mat?

Vacuum gently with a non-bristle wand for routine cleaning. When it needs more than that, hand wash cold with a wool-safe detergent and air dry fully. Never put it in the dryer. While it is still damp, reshape a cave or basket around towels or blankets so it reforms as it dries.

Is This Bed Safe For My Cat?

Safety is our priority. Most of our products are undyed, in the natural colour of the wool or other material. Where we do use dyes, they are azo-free. Every piece is made with secure construction methods. Patrick, our Chief Executive Cat, personally paw-inspects every design. This bed is made for sleeping, not for chewing, so please inspect it regularly for wear and replace it if it becomes torn or damaged. If your cat tries to eat any part of it, stop using it.
